Moving close to an ex

Am moving due to job offer and one - possibly best - option is to move to a town where unfortunately, an ex of mine lives. It's a great place in many ways - but small - so chances of bumping into regularly are pretty high. Should I ignore the awkwardness factor or is it worth it?

Gonks - as well as rightfully seeking guidance on a West Ham website, have you tried sharing your predicament with the prospective employer? They are usually very understanding in such circumstances
